Thursday morning on i90 is looking pretty nice again and best of all the wind isn't as bad today either. There are some clouds to the West that look like could produce some rain today but no problems driving. Over by Houston, MN / HWY 76 -- Exit 257 on i90 there was a boom truck doing something in the ditch (see picture below). Can't quite figure out what they were doing. If you have any ideas please let me know in the comments. As always drive safe.

Friday Morning Commute
Things are starting to get lighter out earlier again since the first few days since we set the clocks ahead which is nice. It's also nice to see all the snow melting. It's amazing how different things can look in only a matter of days. Of course with all that melting snow there are a few patches of ice to becareful for on i90 this mornging primarilly in Minnesoata. Drive safe and have a good weekend.

Friday Morning Commute
The big story on this morning's commute was fog. In La Crosse, WI and for the first few miles in MN i90 was in great shape with no fog in site. Then between the Rushford, MN Exit 249 and the Lewiston, MN Exit 242 I ran into all kinds of patchy fog. Then it cleared up for the most part till I ran into some more fog around the Eyota, MN Exit 224. The fog should burn off though as the sun comes up though and the roads are in good shape so things are looking good for driving conditions on i90 today. The fog has made things a bit frosty so there may be a few slick spots of black ice out there but overall things are ok. One thing to keep in mind for this weekend is that it's spose to warm up and that could mean a lot more fog as all this snow melts. As always, drive safe. Pictures taken between 7 and 8 AM.
