Thursday Morning

Nice to have all this sunshine back in the area again. I heard this morning that all the area rivers are below flood stage so maybe things will settle down back to normal. I'm at home today so no new pictures but I did want to share that my little car just turned over 160,000 miles. My wife bought it used in college with around 30,000 miles and it's been a good car for us. That's a lot of commuting and hopefully it will still be going strong for another 160,000. Time will tell. As always drive safe.

I'm at home today still trying to dry out my basement before it rains again. Sounds like we are going to get hit hard with rain this afternoon, tonight and tomorrow (and possibly this weekend). At times these storms could be severe so keep that in mind as you travel on i90 and other roads in the area. Drive safe and stay dry.

Boy it sure rained a lot last night. Think it woke me up almost every hour. Not sure if that's the reason that I got up this morning with the worst kink in my neck that I've ever had, but the good news is I'm at home today so I don't need to look over my shoulder in the car today. I'm at home again today so once again no current road condition pictures. We're to the point of the year where even for Minnesota and Wisconsin it would be extremely unusual to have any kind of snow or slushy road. The temps still aren't as warm as they should be though with some areas around here still getting down to the freezing mark the last few nights. Looks like 70's are on the way for the weekend though. It's the last Monday in April and would you believe it's snowing out my window. Doesn't look like it's sticking to the roads though so that's good. I'm working from home today so no new pictures of what i90 looks like in this April snow. The good news is that the snow is supose to turn to rain by mid day so it won't stick around long (if it even sticks to the ground at all). As always drive safe.

I'm working at home today so no pictures of the current road conditions. Trust me that they are fine however as it's going to hit 70 degrees here in La Crosse, WI today. The only thing is that it is spose to be very windy. Yesterday was pretty windy on my drive home as well. Below is a picture I snapped of a road sign that wasn't doing so well with the wind. It's Thursday morning and I'm working from home so no new pictures. The good news is that it sounds like we won't be getting anywhere near as much snow as they were originally talking (probably less then an inch I heard last) so the roads conditions shouldn't get to bad. Friday Morning Roads

Things are looking pretty dicey out there today so I'm staying put and working from home. I did get out and a bout a little bit around 7:30 this morning though and snapped a few shots on i90 here in La Crosse, WI. From what I can tell it only gets worse in Minnesota and someone I work with said things were a mess in Rochester, MN this morning when she came in. We might get up to 10 inches of snow today so if you do have to be out and about, drive safe and have a happy Good Friday.

Good Monday Morning. I'm starting off this week by working at home over here in La Crosse, WI so no new road condition pictures today. It's been snowing a bit here this morning but it appears to be melting when it hits the ground. Driving on i90 may be a little bit trickier in Minnesota though as road conditions are listed as fair to poor there this morning and it looks like they have recieved more snow so far. With temps right around the freezing mark be sure to drive extra safe today.
